About Us
Dr. Bouque graduated from Florida College of Chinese Medicine in Orlando, Florida and is a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida. During her years at FCIM, she treated many ailments and believes the experience, along with the relationships she made, has helped her become the nurturing physician she is today.

Dr. Bouque has a special interest in women's health including infertility, pregnancy and postnatal care. She has a special passion for home birth, giving the opportunity to empower woman for both their comfort and mental health. She has treated many ailments including:

Acupuncture
Treatment
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture is a 2,000 plus year old medicine with extensive history. Acupuncture is a treatment using the bodies energetic pathways, called Meridians, to unblock Qi (Chi) or energies that could create physical or emotional distress. The meridians circulate Qi, similar to how your veins circulate oxygen in Western Medicine.
TCM quotes 'When there is flow, there is health.' Acupuncture will help the Qi, or energy to flow, so the organ systems can all communicate together. When Qi moves, so does blood, helping to reduce inflammation and pain and increase circulation. When Qi and blood are flowing, your body can work more efficiently.
Nutrition
& Herbs
'You are what you eat.' Feeling good starts with eating right for your body-type. In TCM, we use your health history and body constitution to help create a stable foundation with food. With the depleted sources of nutrition from our soil and environment, it is important to add supplements to fill these nutritional gaps.
Herbs are also used to help balance out the organ systems to work properly on their own. Incorporating nutrition, supplements and herbs will help you steer your journey to health, to being the best version of yourself.
Yoga
Classes
Yoga is an ancient healing modality that incorporates connection between the body, mind and spirit. In Sanscrit, yoga means 'to unite' or connect the individual self with divine consciousness. 'Breathe is life' so breathwork is key, but Asanas, or movement are added here in the West.
Asana helps bring us to a higher state of recognition, finding body awareness and self-purpose. The physical response to the practice will help reduce stress, increase overall wellbeing and freedom of movement.
Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST)
Cranial Sacral Therapy, also known as CST, is a gentle, hands-on approach for helping to release tension in the soft tissue of the body down into the deepest layers.
Physical restrictions could be affecting the Central Nervous system and this modality can help both physical and neurological developments.
Yin and Pin offers a taste of Yin Yoga and the ancient healing of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Classes begin with 30 minutes of restorative yoga asanas that will help you release physically at a deeper level. Poses will be held for longer durations so you can “get out of your head.” Once things begin to open and you relax further, Dr. Amanda Bouque, Board Certified Acupuncture Physician, will offer a de-stress treatment. Whether you choose acupuncture or auricular ear seeds, you are bound to feel the stress just melt away! After Yin Yoga and your healing session, you are in for a SWEET Savasana! If you've been wanting to try Acupuncture this is a great option!

From fertility treatments, all three trimesters of pregnancy, and postpartum, acupuncture can ease your symptoms, build your body to nourish you and baby, and help transition during all the changes your body will go through physically and hormonally. The third trimester is especially important with aches and pains, baby positioning, and labor prep all being apart of your pregnancy journey.
Whether you are birthing at home or at the hospital, we offer in-home sessions and labor inductions to reduce your travel and ease your mind. Once baby arrives, we can help with lactation, C-section recovery, fatigue and other emotional issues that come with the hormonal fluctuations.
